Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances on the show include Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball got married to Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her new fascination with politics to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she observed the US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action group working for Democratic causes.
