Breeana Danielle "Bree" Essrig (born on April 21, 1990) is an American actor, writer, host and web-based personality known for her comedic writing and appearances on the (now extinct) news and current affairs series SourceFed. SourceFed's host in 2015 was Essrig. In 2017, she was promoted to the star role in the #whatshappening daily Twitter series. In 2013, Essrig came out publicly as bisexual on The Rubin Report. Since then she has been a loud advocate against bullying. Essrig was a cohost on The Young Turks news and PopTrigger pop culture channel between 2012 and 2015 and was a host/writer at SourceFed in 2015-2017. She was guest host on various websites. She has been on Elizabeth Banks' comedy website WhoHaha. Essrig received a Shorty Award nomination in 2017 as the Best Comedian.
